- Description of Work: The Homestake - Maud S CDNST Project consists of 9.4 miles of new trail construction. Items of work are: mobilization, reestablish survey staking, offset survey staking, clearing and grubbing, slash filters, excavation, rock excavation, grade dips, blast boulders, ditches, turnpike, posts, signs and tree blaze. Project Location: The Homestake - Maud S CDNST Trail Construction Project is located on the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, Jefferson Ranger District, Jefferson County, four miles southeast of Butte, Montana. The beginning of the project is located at Homestake Pass, north of Interstate 15 in the NW¼ SE¼ Section 13, T 2N, R 7W. The trail runs northwesterly and northerly along the Continental Divide, 9.4 miles to the head of the Maud-S Canyon in the NE¼ NW¼, Section 35, T 3N R 7N. Additional Information: No pre-bid tour will be conducted. Interested bidders may contact Raymond Gross at the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest Supervisors Office, telephone 406-683-3900. Government estimated price range is $100,000 to $500,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately 30 July 2008 and can be downloaded from this site at that time.
