- This is a request for quotations (RFQ) for the procurement of a Dual Range Portable Calibration Load frame rated at 55K (250kN) and 5.5K (25kN) to include the following parts and attachments: • 55KDual Range Portable Calibration Load Frame rated at 55K (250kN) and 5.5K {25kN), precise alignment and loading between a fixed base plate and a fixed cross head with slack adapter, Actuator is integrated into the lower platen for increased stiffness. incrementally adjustable test space with a set of adjustment links to compensate for differences in calibration assembly length. Switch selectable • Portable cart 20 x 40 inch (508 x 1016 mm) with 24 x 48 inch (610 x 1220 mm) laminated table to work surface and locking casters. • Load Frame, with four 2-inch (50 8 mm) smooth chrome plated columns with 12 inches (300 mm) clear space between columns and 25-lnch (635 mm) test space • Linear Actuator, fatigue rated at 55K (250kN), integral to the lower platen for shortened load train and increased stiffness One-piece 2 % inch (69.85 mrn) diameter alloy piston rod with non-metallic rod bearings and externally replaceable seals Two working piston areas, one for load cell calibration to 5,500 Ibs (25kN) tension or compression and the second for load cell calibration to 55,000 Ibs (250kN) tension or compression. 4-inch (100 mm) stroke 1.25 X in-12 x 1.5 in deep rod end thread Internal concentrically mounted LVDT. Small Area piston can be selected for rapid Servo Valve. 1 gpm (3,78 Ipm) • servo valve installed, two-stage • Hydraulic Power Supply, Acoustically treated hydraulic power supply with remote control of start/stop and run/idle modes. Pump is fixed a displacement, lapped gear type with low hydraulic noise and pressure ripple. This proposed contract action is for procurement of a product for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with any responsible source.
