Sources Sought Synopsis: THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF RFP ISSUANCE, AND THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO MAKE AN AWARD ON THE BASIS OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED HEREIN. THIS NOTICE IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF IDENTIFYING POTENTIAL SOURCES AND DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE AN AWARD AND/OR ISSUE A SOLICITATION UNDER THE SET-ASIDE AUTHORITY. THIS EFFORT IS CONSIDERED COMMERCIAL IN NATURE. Patrick Air Force Base anticipates an acquisition to provide inspection, testing, maintenance, and cleaning of kitchen hood and duct exhausts, wet and dry chemical fire suppression systems, and hand held and wheeled fire extinguishers, to include flight line Halon extinguishers at various facilities at Patrick AFB FL. See Performance Work Statement (PWS). All HUBZone sources within the state of Florida capable of providing these services are being sought. In addition to the information provided below, entitled "Capabilities Package," responding parties must also indicate their size status in relation to the applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 7389 (size standard $31,000,000) and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes 561990, 561790, and 238220. Sources which also have 8(a) status or who are otherwise classified as Small Disadvantaged, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned, or Woman Owned Business, should address their status in their responses. Capabilities Package. All interested firms should submit a capabilities package that outlines the firm's capabilities in providing the required services. Contractors are required to provide all management and labor and equipment required for the operation and management of the required services. Services must be completed in accordance with industry standards, and interested and qualified firms should submit pertinent information on their capabilities to provide the above service. If subcontracts will be used, provide the anticipated percentage of effort to be subcontracted and whether small or large businesses will be used. The capabilities package should be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements. Recent, relevant experience in all areas should be provided. Teaming and/or subcontracting arrangements should be clearly delineated, and previous experience in teaming must be provided. The response must not exceed 10 pages and shall, at a minimum, include company name, address, telephone number, and contact point, length of time in business, HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned, or Woman Owned Business status in their responses. The Department of Defense (DOD) has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the single DOD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with DOD. It is mandatory to obtain a DUNS number prior to registering in CCR by emailing Dun & Bradstreet at www.dnb.com/us or by phone at 1-800-234-3867.
