- Request a U.S. or foreign flag self-sustaining RO/RO or RO/RO-LO/LO combination vessel for approximately a 65 day time charter with the option of cancelling anytime after 30 days with 10 days notice. Vessel must be able to move a minimum of 109,512 sq feet of rolling stock, MHE, helicopters and containers. Vessel must be capable of 17 knots or greater transit speeds. Vessel must have berthing for a force protection team of 12 persons. All non-containerized cargo must be able to be stowed under deck. In accordance with the Cargo Preference Act of 1904 and Section IIIA.3 of the Voluntary Intermodal Sealift Agreement (VISA) (see 72 FEDERAL REGISTER 62898, Nov 7, 2007, or most current reference), preference will be given to U.S. flag vessels and VISA participants. Cargo Dimensions: Maximum Length: 639 in. Maximum Width: 266 in. Maximum Height: 244 in. Maximum Weight: 20 tons. 2. Place/Range of Delivery: Beaumont, Texas 3. Place/Range of Redelivery: U.S Gulf Coast, port in CHOP 4. Charter Period: About 65 days. 5. Laydays: Commence: 27 July 2008 Cancel: 28 July 2008
