- Description
- The Army Sustainment Command (ASC) is conducting a Sources Sought/Market Survey for potential sources to produce 105mm Wood Box, NSN: 8140-01-077-2004, P/N: 9271047. Estimated guaranteed minimum quantity is 65,000 each. It is anticipated that this resulting requirement will be a small business set aside. Respondents must demonstrate that they have the capability to manufacture a wood box to include heat treatment with approved stamping. Nominal inside dimensions are 32.0 x 10.375 x 5.25. The box will be nailed, with a hinged cover and fixed external handles. Respondents must also provide estimated minimum and maximum monthly production capacities. A TDP is not available for this announcement; however, one will be made available should a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) be released at a later date. The Government anticipates evaluating and selecting the awardee of the anticipated contract for this requirement based on price only. The Government also anticipates that a Pre-Award Survey will be performed to determine the awardee's technical and production capabilities. A three year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is anticipated. Responses to this survey shall be submitted electronically within 15 calendar days from the date of this publication to HQ, Army Sustainment Command, ATTN: AMSAS-ACA-R/Stephanie Boozer at stephanie.boozer@us.army.mil. All information collected from this market survey shall be used for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute an RFP and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay respondents for information submitted.
