- Description
- Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), located at the SierraNevada Region(SNR), in Folsom, CA has a construction requirement for a contractor toprovideall labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and other resourcesnecessaryto remodel an existing office located within WAPA's Redding MaintenanceFacility in Redding, CA within Shasta County California. The principalcomponents of work include but are not limited to the remodel of a 1400squarefoot office space which includes the demolition of restrooms, interiorgypsumboard and steel stud partitions, doors and frames, floor finishes,suspendedceiling system, ductwork, and electrical system and the removal anddisposal ofall debris. New construction includes: two restrooms, interior gypsumboard,steel stud partitions, suspended ceiling system, doors and frames, floorfinishes, painting, ductwork, plumbing, and electrical systems. Thisrequirement is set a-side 100% for small business with a NAICS Code of236210and a size standard of $31 Million. The solicitation will be issued on orabout July 17, 2008 and proposals will be due on August 11, 2008. Once the solicitation is posted/issued interested offerors must email bothboswell@wapa.gov and kford@wapa.gov or fax 916-985-1933 to request thedrawings. Drawings will not be sent to any company that is not registeredinCCR as a small business. Do not post any questions or responses to the RFPonIIPS. Any questions or responses posted on the IIPS that concern this RFPWILLNOT be considered during the evaluation and award process.
