- Travis AFB intends to procure the services for local and direct procurement moves (DPM). Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation and all necessary items to provide local moving services at Travis AFB, CA. Period of performance is 1 Oct 08 through 30 Sep 09 with four option years. Complete details of local moving services, evaluation factors and the performance work statement (PWS) are included in the request for proposal (RFP). This requisition is un-restricted. The North American Classification System (NAICS) is 484210 and the related size standard is $23.5 million. Award shall be made based upon best value to the government in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items. The government reserves the right to award a contract other than the low offeror and to make two seperate awards to two seperate offerors. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation package. Facsimile, telephone, written and/or email requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Prospective offerors who download the solicitation are requested to submit their company name, address, phone number, fax number, email, points of contact, DUNS number and business classification (i.e. large, small, disadvantaged, 8a, HUBzone, woman owned, veteran, service disabled, etc) to Contract Specialist Bryan Armstrong, phone (707) 424-7754, fax (707) 424-0288, or email at bryan.armstrong-02@travis.af.mil All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. Prospective offerors must have or obtain a DUNS number, be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov, must complete FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certification Commercial Items at http://orca.bpn.gov, and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil to ensure electronic funds transfer.
