- Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge, 752 County Road 99W, Willows, CA (approximately seven miles south of the city of Willows, California) has a requirement for materials, construction and installation of approximately 1650 linear feet of six foot high galvanized PVC coated steel chain link fence around the outside base of the levees of four sewer and evaporation ponds. The fence shall include one swinging, 18 foot wide manually operated double leaf gate with a lockable mechanism installed at the gravel access road/ramp. Inspection will be by Chain Link fence Manufactures Institute Standard. Project magnitude is between $25,000. and $100,000. This will be "best value" procurement with award based on experience, and price. Award may be made without further negotiation. Proposals should be submitted initially on the most favorable terms, from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government may, after evaluation of proposals, conduct further oral or written discussion as appropriate. Solicitation number 801818Q330 is expected to be published approximately July 28, 2008 and may be viewed thru a link to the National Business Center at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The solicitation response date will be approximately Aug 25, 2008. No further notice will be posted on Fedbizopps. Interested contractors must be registered in the CCR at time of award.
