- NSN 1560-01-256-8156, PR 0018820804; Item: Transparency, Canopy. P/N 75A353320-1003 from CAGE 86175 GKN Aerospace Transparency Systems or CAGE 76301 McDonnell Douglas Corporation. This procurement is expected to result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract for a quantity of 9 each with a 100% option. This item is a Critical Application item with configuration control. Contractor First Article Testing applies. First Article test reports are due 90 days from date of award. Production line item delivery is 365 days after date of first article test report approval. FOB is Destination; Inspection and Acceptance is Origin. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies: the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This request is for a written quote. Please submit offers in writing. The solicitation opening date is 07/30/08, the close date is 09/02/08. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
