- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, National Forests in FL, has a requirement for timber stand examination services. This is a solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12. Work includes performing timber stand examination services using common stand exam protocols in accordance with specifications on approximately 1,005 timber plots on the Ocala National Forest, Lake and Marion Counties, FL. Award of contract will be based on BEST VALUE to the Government, price and other factors considered. Evaluation factors, in descending order of importance, are: (i) Past Performance in performing similar work for the Federal or other Government entities. (ii) Experience in performing similar type of work (iii) Technical capability to meet Government requirements (iv) Price Contract Time: 60 calendar days beginning approx. September 22, 2008.
