- This is a requirement for Maintenance and Overhaul (M&O) of the subject item for the UH-60 aircraft. No surplus parts shall be used or applied. Servo CylinderMinimum Quantity: 130 each Maximum Quantity: 978 each Which Includes an Estimated FMS Quantity of 163 each INPUT/OUTPUT NSN: 1650-01-143-1227 INPUT/OUTPUT P/N: 274600-1047 The proposed contractual action will be a five year M&O Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the quantity stated above. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment and materials for the M&O. Authority cited is Title 10 United States Code (USC) 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agencys requirements. This item is identified as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). This requirement is limited to two approved sources because it is a CSI. There is a DMWR (DMWR-1-1650-382) identified for this requirement, however, because it is a CSI only approved sources can perform the overhaul. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614-1378 (CAGE: 78286) and Texas Aerospace, Abilene, TX (CAGE 29242). Texas Aerospace is performing on the current M&O overhaul contract. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List (CASL) procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following web site: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Submit request(s) for source approval to: Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-S, Building 5309, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. Award of this requirement will not be withheld pending source approval. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitations must be processed through their respective embassies. All responsible sources that can perform the above effort may submit an offer that shall be considered by the Agency. This requirement is currently unfunded.
