- The Naval Air Systems Command, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a sole-source basis with VXI Technology, Irvine, CA for the following items: 5 each p/n 520630000 Switch Module, 5 each p/n 520629000 Switch Module, 5 each p/n 520628000 SM Card Cage, 5 each p/n 700142000 SM Base Unit, 5 each p/n 700223000 Power Switch, 5 each p/n 700169000 Switch Assembly, 5 each p/n 700301000 Switch Assembly, 5 each p/n 520256001 Relay Driver, 5 each p/n 700186002 RF Switch, 5 each p/n 700221001 Circuit Card. VXI Technology is the sole designer, developer and integrator of these RTCASS parts and is the only known firm with the unique knowledge, experience, technical data, to provide these items. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
