- This is a preaward synopsis for the purchase of propulsion sustainment spares (various components). This is a sole source acquisition, due to unique supplies or services available from only one source or only one supplier with unique capabilities, under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), to GE Aviation Systems LLC (DBA Dowty Propellors), CAGE 93366. As this is a commercial effort, a combined synopsis/solicitation will be utilized. To allow for easier viewing, a standalone RFQ has been attached. DESCRIPTION: Initial propulsion spares applicable to the C-130J aircraft, for a foreign military sales customer. The response date is 16 July 08. An estimated award date is 25 July 08. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified below for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. Note 22 applies.
