- Description
- USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA), Commodity Credit Corporation, seeks to obtain comments from interested vendors on a Statement of Work for financial audit of the CCC principal financial audit statements. It is anticipated that this requirement will be set-aside as a competitive 8 (a) acquisition. Draft Statement of Work (SOW) is available at the following USDA web site: http://www.fsa.usda.gov/FSA/webapp?area=about&subject=landing&topic=sao-dm-am-pm Disclaimer This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. Based on the written results of this RFI, if funding is available, the government may submit a follow-on announcement in FEDBIZOPPS requesting formal competitive 8(a) proposals. Submissions After review of the draft SOW please electronically submits any comments to Renea Morton @ renea.morton@wdc.usda.gov, Responses are due no later than July 28, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. EST. The comments supplied by industry will be used by the government to ensure industry understanding and clarity of the government SOW, eliminate ambiguities, and to better formulate the acquisition strategy for the possible resultant procurement. When responding to this RFI, interested potential 8(a) offerors shall submit a detailed summary of their experience in providing like or similar services as outlined in the SOW as a CPA firm; Pseudo-government corporation audit experience is preferred; credit reform experience is preferred. Offerors need to address proposed staffing plan and security requirements as outlined in SOW. Deliverables are mandatory, please demonstrate capability of meeting timelines. Offerors shall provide a statement of risks and assumption associated with this effort. Your comments should be limited to no more than fifteen (15) pages. In addition, to your technical response, please submit a copy of your corporate capability statement. (this is separate from your technical response). Technical questions, suggestions and responses to this RFI shall be submitted electronically, to Renea Morton at renea.morton@wdc.usda.gov. Telephonic inquiries to this RFI will not be accepted.
