- U. S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) has a requirement for maintenance and Repair of machine tools and systems at Crane Army Ammunition Activity at Crane, Indiana. Maintenance and repair services may include electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repair, modification, upgrades and retrofits of equipment and systems. ASC intends to issue a request for quotation, W52P1J-08-Q-3040 to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, http://acquisition.army.mil on or about 23 Jul 2008 with opening 15 days from issuance. This procurement is restricted to small business. This contract will be covered under NAICS 811310. Small Business for this NAICS is $6.5M. The Government intends to award a time and materials type contract with established labor rates. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All offerors are also to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors shall complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Interested firms are invited to submit offers after this solicitation is posted to the web. Amendments applicable to this solicitation will be posted to the web. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any changes to the solicitation.
