- The Department of the Air Force 6th Contracting Squadron at Mac Dill Air Force Base, FL, intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) for Invasive Exotic Plant Control at Avon Park Air Force Range, Avon Park, FL. The RFP will be issued on or about 14 Jul08. The solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561730 with a small business size standard of $6,500,000. A firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity contract will be awarded for a base period of one year with four one year options. The proposed base performance period is 1 Sep 2008 thru 31 Aug 2009. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offerors must also register on the ORCA website for online representations and certifications. The offer due date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizops.gov. Paper copies will not be available. No telephone calls or written requests for this solicitation package will be accepted. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the interested parties' responsibility to review the site frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation.
