- Description
- The 14th Contracting Squadron will issue a solicitation on or about 23 Jul 08 for the acquisition of commercial recycling services to be performed at Columbus AFB. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, materials, facilities, transportation and other items necessary to manage and operate a recycling program at Columbus AFB in accordance with the applicable Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed price requirements contract with a base year and three one-year option periods. The base period of performance will be from 25 Oct 08 through 24 Oct 2009. The proposed contract is set-aside as 100% for HUBZone concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 562111 with an associated size standard of $11.5 Million. The Request for Quotation (RFQ), the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and other associated attachments will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPS) website at http://www.fbo.gov/. The RFQ will be issued electronically. Paper copies of the RFQ will not be provided. The RFQ can be downloaded and printed from FEDBIZOPS. After the solicitation has been posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the website frequently for updates to the documents. All responsible HUBZone sources may submit a proposal and shall be considered. Completed copies of the provisions at FAR 52.213-3 (Alt I), Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, must be submitted with the offer. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award.. The web address for CCR is: http://www.bpn.gov/ccr/scripts/index.html.
