- Description
- The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the U.S. Army Information Technology Agency (USAITA), Network Security Services Pentagon (NSS-P), intends to award a sole source contract to SeaChange International, Inc., 50 Nagog Park, Acton, MA 01720-3409 pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The requirement is for the use of the SeaChange proprietary software and headend equipment that is currently being used for the On Demand Media Content Review System. The USAITA-NSS-P seeks to procure products and services from the original source to ensure all warranties on existing equipment remain valid. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 517110 with a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within the ten (10) days of this announcements posting date of 9 July 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon any responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
