Description: Competitive Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. F1A3D28135AC01. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-11. The North American Industry Classification System code is 331511 at 500 Employees size standard. LINE ITEM 0002: Program Manager FFP Program Manager for the duration of the project tiny_mce_marker ________ PER HOUR x Approx. 16 HRS = tiny_mce_marker ________________ Period of Performance: 01 Aug 2008 - 30 Sep 2008 LINE ITEM 0003: Cable Installer FFP Cable Installer for duration of project tiny_mce_marker ________ PER HOUR x Approx. 70 HRS = tiny_mce_marker ________________ Period of Performance: 01 Aug 2008 - 30 Sep 2008 The item description is as follows: The Contractor shall purchase and install seventy (70) twelve gauge stainless steel lockdown security system manhole covers with high security locks for Bolling AFB, DC. The purchase and all work will be performed IAW the attached SOW. The period of performance for this requirement is 01 Aug 2008 - 30 September 2008. FAR PROVISIONS: The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration, (IAW FAR 4.1201 prospective contractors must be registered in the Online Representative & Certification Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov ) The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers, unless another time period is specified in an addendum to the solicitation.
