- The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) Pacific/Department of Defense Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) Guam intends to issue an Other than Full and Open Competition 100% Small Business HUBZone Set-Aside basis, a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to procure Special Needs Transportation Services for approximately two to three wheelchair bound students attending McCool Elementary/Middle School in the U.S. Territory of Guam. The period of performance will be from 1 October 2008 through 30 September 2009. Transportation services shall include and estimated 1,130 labor hours and an estimated two (2) buses with wheelchair lift capabilities. Specific details shall be included in the Request for Quote (RFQ) Number HE1260-08-T-4003 to be posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 10 July 2008, to close 30 days from the RFQ issue date. The anticipated award date will be on or about 20 August 2008. Contractors are advised that questions and comments should be reserved until after issuance of RFQ/solicitation. This office will not respond to any inquiries received prior to the issuance of solicitation. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR Part 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database.
