- The Regional Contracting Officer, Northeast, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia intends to award a sole source contract to Batwin and Robin Productions, Inc. 151 W. 19th Street, FL 10, New York, New York 10011-4116, for professional exhibit fabrication and installation within the Marine Corps Museum. This contract is a continuation and closeout of pre-existing contract to create, produce, and install audiovisual media within complex exhibits and synchronized with theatrical lighting within the National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC). This contract picks up where the previous contract concluded and continues the work, effectively completing the original intent. Mission failure is highly likely if the Government were to contract with another media production firm, the delays would jeopardize the overall project and would cause substantial duplication of cost to the Government. The period of performance will be for the base year and three (3) option years from the date of award. This notice is not a request for proposals. No solicitation document is available for competitive bidding, however, interested parties may submit a written Statement of Capability for satisfying this requirement to the email address identified below NO LATER THAN 10:00 AM 15 July 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
