- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) are co-hosting an Industry Day for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Construction or Construction Related Contractors only. The work involves industries in the following NAICS Codes: 236, 237 and 238. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 16th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the VA Medical Center, 200 Springs Road, Bldg.78A, Bedford, MA 01730. The purpose of the Industry Day is to provide information on upcoming construction opportunities at various VA facilities throughout New England. There will be briefings from Department of Veteran Affairs, Office of Small and Disadvantage Business Utilization, U.S. Small Business Administration, Massachusetts Procurement Technical Assistance Center, representatives from the New England VA facilities and the Corps of Engineers. This session will also cover the solicitation and award process. Following the presentations, contractors will have an opportunity to ask questions and to network.
