- DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation 601818Q634, Steel RMANWR, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26, effective 12 June 2008. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE IAW FAR 19.502-2(a). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423510, Metal Service Centers and Other Metal Merchant Wholesalers, with a small business size standard of 100 people. (v) The Contractor shall provide the following items: 1Pipe 1 5/8" OD Schedule 40 - Length 12' minimum 5500ft2Pipe 2 7/8" OD Schedule 40 - Length 10' minimum 2000ft3Pipe 2 3/8" OD Schedule 40 - Length 10' minimum 20000ft4Pipe 7" OD Schedule 40 - Length 10' minimum 30ft5Square Steel Tubing 4" X 4" X 1/4" - Length 14' 700ft6Square steel tubing 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" X 1/4" - Length 12' 2400ft7Square steel tubing 4" X 4" X 14" - Length 12' 1200ft8Channel Iron 4" X 5.4 # - Length 12" minimum 1100ft9Angle Iron 1 1/2" X 1 1/2" X 3/16" - Length 12' minimum 2500ft10Sheet Metal 4' X 8' X 14 gauge. 200eaAll items above shall be mill rejects (seconds) unless prior approval from purchaserVendor shall furnish and deliver FOB-Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR, Commerce City, Colorado. The price will be F.O.B. Destination Delivery will be required within 60 days of the date of award. (vi) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items and 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items apply. Evaluation will be based on price. To be included in the price competition, offerors must submit a quote on all items. The successful offeror will be the quoter offering the lowest total price. The price quoted must be F.O.B. Destination. (vii) Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications, effective 01 Jan, 2005, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires the use of Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in Federal solicitations as part of the proposal submission process.
