- THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS A 100% EMERGING SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This project includes providing all materials, equipment, and labor required to pave the Ladora Angler's Parking Lot, Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR, CO, including placement of four (4) inches of bituminous concrete surface course over a prepared foundation (preparation by others). The paved area will be approximately 11,200 sf. Work will include striping the parking lot to delineate 20 parking spaces (including 1 van accessible handicapped-accessible space), and installation of the appropriate ADA signage. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the work area in order to examine the existing site conditions by making arrangements with the Project Leader. Site Visit information will be listed in the solicitation. Failure of the Contractor to ascertain the nature, location, and conditions which affect the work will not relieve him from the responsibility for successfully performing the work without additional expense to the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total performance is 60 days from Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is a 100% Emerging Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS code is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, and the size standard is $13 Million. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about July 8, 2008 with an anticipated closing date of July 29, 2008.
