- Description
- The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and incidental supplies necessary to replace waterline at Beartree Campground located on the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests, Mount Rogers National Recreation Area, Washington County, Virginia. Primary items of work include installing hydrants, valves, curb stops, and waterline (3”, 2” and ¾”). Location is approximately 7 miles east of Damascus, VA on US 58 and 11 miles west of Troutdale, VA. The contract performance period will be between 240 days and 605 days depending on actual work awarded. Desired date for starting work is October 2008. This project is estimated at between $250,000 and $500,000. A pre-bid meeting/showing will be scheduled in the solicitation. This procurement is a HUBZone Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 237110. Successful offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database before award can be made. You may register at the CCR website at www.ccr.gov. This solicitation will be available on this website on or around July 18, 2008. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. Award will be made on a best value basis.
