- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE EDACS MAINTENANCE STATEMENT OF WORK 1. This contract is not to be limited by the quantity of radio assets that are currently utilized by the base. With the expansion of departments, the equipment list will have additions/subtractions. The radio maintenance contract will cover the repair and preventive maintenance for the Enhanced Digital Access Communications System (EDACS). This system supports the communications for Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, which includes Nebo, Yermo Annexes, Rifle Range, and Elephant Mountain. Requirements for acceptable maintenance and support are as follows: Preventive Maintenance (PM): Limited Technical Inspection (LTI) of equipment as established by schedule:a.On site Limited Technical Inspection of site controller and system managerb.On site Limited Technical Inspection of all antenna systems c.On site Limited Technical Inspection of EDACS repeater system and Zetron configuration Monthly operational check of repeater system during the months of June, July, August and September:a.Check and complete alignments on repeater as necessary b.Check and adjust power output on repeater as necessary Repair/Replace:Parts and labor covered in contract priceTechnical service provided via telephone when applicable Additional Requirements:24 hour maintenance serviceMaintenance provided by EDACS certified technicians only 2 Hour response timePick up and delivery service of all equipment Equipment Covered:2 VHF Repeater site with 4 Transmit and 4 Receive channelsSite Controller(s)System Manager (CSD) Estimated Annual Cost: $21,360.00 BASE YEAR PLUS THREE OPTION YEARS
