- This is a preliminary notice, NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. The Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies (APCSS) has a requirement for an Interactive Whiteboard System with an Integrated Projector. The contractor shall be required to supply the APCSS with the required Whiteboard Systems, and shall also be required to install the systems in designated classrooms. There are ten (10) classrooms that vary in size and structure and each room requires installation of the Whiteboard System. Most of these classrooms have existing Whiteboard Systems on the walls. Note: The APCSS will remove existing systems prior to contractor installation of the new systems. The description to meet the agencies needs are: Quantity of six (6) SMART 94” Whiteboards, Quantity of six (6) Christie 3000 Lumens 16:9 WXGA LCD Projectors, Quantity of four (4) SMART 77” Whiteboards, Quantity of four (4) Unifi 35 Projectors, Quantity of four (4) TAP and DCR installation in Seminar Rooms. This requirement will be set-aside as 100% for Small Business HUB-Zone. Offers from other than HUB-Zone Small Business concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS Code is 541330; Standard Size is $4.5 million, “Engineering Services”. It is required that the awarded contractor be registered (refer to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at www.ccr.gov). SITE VISIT INFORMATION: A site visit will be held ONE TIME ONLY for interested offerors. The Site Visit will be held Wednesday 9 July 2008, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the APCSS located at 2058 Maluhia Road, Honolulu, Hawaii 96815. RESERVATION INFORMATION: All interested offerors shall submit their RSVP to Kim Johnson NO LATER THAN 0800 Wed 9 July 2008, to reserve a space for the site visit. NO MORE THAN TWO REPS FROM EACH INTERESTED OFFEROR AUTHORIZED. The Government anticipates issuance of a solicitation and request for proposal on or about 14 July 2008. Any information related to this requirement will be available only via the electronic posting system via Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov.
