Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requisition Number W81EWF81571957 is being issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns under NAICS Code 238210 (SIC 1731) with a size standard of $13 Million. The USACE, Engineer Research & Development Center, TEC-Analytical Service Branch has a need for the following: Multiple Cable Installation Requirements Line Item 0001: Multiple Cable Installation, Quantity 1, Unit: Lump sum, Provide & install (1) 43 rack-unit cabinet with wire management, power strip, and fans in TEC Annex Server Room 801. Provide (3) 48-port Category 6 twisted-pair patch panels and install in rack above. Provide (2) Catalyst 3750G-48TS Gigabit Ethernet Switches and (4) Cisco 1000Base-SX GE SFP. Install in the rack above. Provide Category 6 patch cables in (28) 3-foot, (29) 5-foot, and (57) 15-foot lengths. Install, terminate and test (90) 4-pair Category 6 cabling and (45) dual RJ45 wall jacks to be installed in the designated workstation locations within the 800 Area and the patch panels in the new cabinet (above) in TEC Annex Server Room 801 utilizing the raised floor plenum. Drill raised floor penetrations to install workstation jacks from the raised floor to within the existing drywall at the designated locations. All cabling to be bundled neatly and covered with Panduit, where appropriate. Install, terminate and test (24) 4-pair Category 6 cabling and (12) dual RJ45 wall jacks to be installed in the designated workstation locations within the 900 Area and the patch panel in the new cabinet (above) in TEC Annex Server Room 801 utilizing the raised floor plenum. Drill raised floor penetrations to install workstation jacks from the raised floor to within the existing drywall at the designated locations. All cabling to be bundled neatly and covered with Panduit, where appropriate. The project Location is in building 2592 and 2592A, Humphreys Engineer Center, 7701 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, VA 22315. All on site workers must be U.S. Citizens and Contractors shall provide names and social security numbers of workers prior to arrival on the job site. Technical POC is Katherine Ebersole 703 428-7816, alternate POC is Paul Ford 703 428-6892. All work shall be performed during normal duty hours. 0700-1700 daily. Period of Performance shall be 30 days from date of award. Work locations are as follows: RM 800, 900 all work is for expansion for the current Network cable plants. Award shall be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal is determined to be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include a completed copy of FAR Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Award can only be made to contractors registered in the Central Contractor Registration web page, http://www.ccr.gov.
