- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (W912DS-08-T-0025) incorporates provisions and clauses in effect. This acquisition is unrestricted. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) Code is 611430. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed price contract. Please submit all questions in writing to the Point of Contact by July 8, 2008. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract to procure for two (2) Fiscal Law Training sessions in October 2008. Each session will be a three-day class for up to twenty-five (25) people to be conducted at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), 26 Federal Plaza, New York, NY 10278-0090. The class should run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and will include the following areas: a) Revolving Fund, b) Non-Appropriated Funds, and c) The Anti-Deficiency Act. Training must be in strict accordance with the USACE Headquarters requirements. The Contractor shall provide all training materials, which will be shipped to USACE on the Wednesday prior to the date the class is scheduled to begin. The materials should be on the premises at least one day before the training begins. The Point of Contact for this project is Ivan V. Damaso at 917-790-8708. The Federal Acquisition Regulation requires that Past Performance Information (PPI) be collected on Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. All vendors who want access to the solicitation will be required to register with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (www.ccr.gov) and FedBizOpps (http://www.fbo.gov). The system called Federal Business Opportunities (http://www.fbo.gov) has been upgraded as a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal Agencies.
