- INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) has a requirement to procure a Preventative Maintenance (PM) for the Cincinnati, Model CL-7A, Laser Cutting Machine, LEAD # R4307, located in Bldg 350 Annex. The Statutory Authority permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, when there is a supply or service available only from one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agencys needs. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis with Automation Solutions, Inc. 2 Hagerty Boulevard, Suite 300, West Chester, PA 19382-7594. Automation Solutions, Inc. is an authorized distributor designated to perform preventative maintenance and repairs for Cincinnati, Inc. The proper repair of this equipment is essential to the HMMWV mission at Letterkenny Army Depot in support of soldiers deployed in the Middle East theatres. Letterkenny Army Depot does not have the necessary documentation, skills and parts to repair this laser cutting machine. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement no later than 21 July 2008 A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 811310, Federal Supply Code is J036. All respondents shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number.
