- ***CHANGES TO SYNOPSIS*****NO SET-ASIDE It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the NECO website as a Sole Source to Western Valve in accordance with FAR 6.302 on or about June 30, 2008 with proposals due by on or about July 14, 2008. ******************************************************* Approximately 35 Port Plug Valves, 560 Hexagon Bolts, 560 Hexagon Nuts, 560 Flat Circular Washers, and 70 Gasket Rings. Items are intended for repairs at FISC Fuel Department in SRF Yokosuka.It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the NECO website as a Sole Source to Western Valve in accordance with FAR 6.302 on or about June 30, 2008 with proposals due by on or about July 14, 2008. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.A Firm-Fixed Price, Supply type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13.5, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Terms will be FOB Destination to Tracy, CA 95376. Delivery will be due approximately 30 days after date of award.All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed.Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
