- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) intends to negotiate a bridge contract modification, on a sole source basis, with the incumbent contractor, EG&G Technical Services, Inc. for engineering and technical support of the Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA). To ensure uninterrupted technical support services through the conduct of the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle Critical Design Review (CDR), the Contracting Officer has determined that an interim sole source bridge contract is in the best interest of the Government and that there are no other responsible sources with the capability to perform this particular requirement under the parameters of the instant proposed bridge effort. This contract action is intended to bridge the period between the end of the existing contract which expires on 14 September 2008 and a new award to be procured using MCSC Commercial Enterprise Omnibus Support Services (CEOss) procedures. The contract period of performance will be three (3) months. Numbered Note 22 applies.
