Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 01 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR REMOVALOF PERLITE FROM LIQUID HYDROGEN STORAGE TANK. Companies shall acknowledge allamendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subjectsynopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to provide technical questions with answers submitted bya vendor for this requirement.QUESTIONS:1. What are the operating hours of landfill and distance from work site? 2. What will be involved in getting clearance?(Is site security clearance, similar toStennis Space Center?)Operating hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm for the land fill.ANSWERS:Our hours in the test are are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm but we could likely extend that if itwill help.The distance from the LH2 storage area to the landfill is approximately 3.5 miles Access to the center should be limited to acquiring visitor passes for access to arsenal. This should not be a problem if the company is a US owned company or if the individualsare US citizens. We will need to provide security with the individuals name and driverslicense number. In addition there is a 30 minute test area access safety class that wecan work on the first day. This will allow you to have unescorted access in the testarea.The due date for receipt of offers is not extended.Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on June 30, 2008 to Judith Drabkin atJudith.R.Drabkin@nasa.gov; FAX: 256-544-4401.
