- Battelle Memorial Institute, Pacific Northwest Division (Battelle), which operates the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is soliciting proposals for Chemical Management Services for two facilities. PNNL seeks a contractor to provide the Bioproducts, Sciences, and Engineering Laboratory (BSEL), and Radiochemical Processing Laboratory (RPL), with chemical management services (CMS) supporting the chemical lifecycle stages from planning, procurement, delivery, receiving, storage, inventory management, and use, but not including waste management. This is a resultant RFP issued from pre-solicitation notice posted on Federal Business Opportunities website on December 11, 2007 that can be viewed at https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=8e04d6f6dc8ad280489f132dd54dab82&tab=core&_cview=0 Specifics of this solicitation are outlined in detail in the attached Request for Proposals, RFP No. 0000057868. PROPOSALS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 3:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, August 12, 2008. It is the Offeror's responsibility to ensure that proposals are submitted by the due date and time required. Late proposals may not be accepted. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting and walk-through of the facilities to be serviced under this contract will be held July 17, 2008. Offeror's not attending will be deemed non-responsive. Offerors are limited to three (3) attandees and will be subject to US DOE's security and training requirements. Training (both on-line and in-person) requirements will be provided to attendees prior to the meeting. Offerors must submit the Notice of Intent to bid by July 10, 2008 3:00P.M. Pacific Daylight Time. Additional forms and links for on-line training will be provided upon receipt of the Notice of Intent.
