- Contractor shall furnish all necessary plant, labor, tools, transportation, supplies, supervision, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to perform all work in accordance with the Statement of Work & Drawings to include demolish Direct Expansion (DX) air conditioning system and ductwork for Room 13, demolish existing Chilled Water (CW) fan coil and ductwork for Room 13, provided two (2) new DX air conditioning systems and ductwork for Room 13, disconnect previously diverted CW unit air from Room 13 and reconnect air to Room 21 in Bldg. 501 on Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, TX 76908. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238220 and the small business size standard is $13 million. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.1007, this acquisition is 100% Set Aside for Small Business Concerns. Offers that are not a small business shall not be considered and shall be rejected. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance time shall be 60 calendar days after issuance of the Notice To Proceed (NTP). All responsible sources may submit a quote to be considered. The solicitation issuance date will be on or about June 26, 2008 with a solicitation due date on or about July 22, 2008 with an anticipated award date on or about July 30, 2008. All requests for clarification relating to this RFQ must be brought to the attention of the contract specialist A1C Robert Frandsen at (325) 654-4420, faxed to (325)-654-5149, or e-mailed to robert.frandsen@goodfellow.af.mil. In accordance with FAR 52.236-27 all offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. A site visit will be conducted on or about July 7, 2008. Access to the site will be limited to the organized site visit only. The exact date and time of the site visit and quote due date will be stated in the solicitation package. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price purchase order to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 in order to receive award.
