Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 2008-05-13. NAICS is 423610 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. Solicitation is for commercial purchase. This acquisition is a 100% small-business set-aside. AFFTC/PK, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking sources capable of providing: Explosion Proof Portable Fiber Optic Lighting Systems. REQUIREMENTS: 2 Ea. Explosion Proof Fiber Optic Lighting Systems with two light heads and 60 foot cords. 2 Ea. Explosion Proof Fiber Optic Lighting Systems with two light heads and 40 foot cords. Fiber Optic Lighting Systems will be used to perform repairs inside aircraft fuel tanks. Lighting systems must have a single 150 watt light source and a hazardous location power source. The lighting system must not have any electrical current in the cable or light heads. Fiber Optic Cable and heads must be made of non-spark material. Ship Date: 4 WARO FOB: Destination Edwards AFB CA 93524.
