- The Government is requesting proposals for the purpose of purchasing natural gas supply for 300 Federal Facility Accounts located in 27 states. The awarded contracts will have a term period of up to three years. The total estimated volume under this procurement is 12,000,000 dths per year of natural gas. Pricing will be obtained via an online reverse auction process in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation. The account holders for this solicitation include the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the Department of Veterans Affairs, GSA, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, National Park Service, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Energy, Internal Revenue Service, US Coast Guard, and Department of Agriculture. Technical Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 PM (EST) on July 31, 2008 at GSA, Energy Center, 301 7th Street, SW, Room 4004, Washington, DC 20407 attention Linda L. Collins. A teleconference for prospective bidders is scheduled for July 10, 2008. Further instructions are provided in the Solicitation Procurement Schedule.
