- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Astrolab Inc. of Warren, NJ for the procurement of Astro Lab Inc. Part Numbers: 29399-1, 29399-2, 29746-1, 29746-2, 29299-3, 29299-4, 29707P, 62-255A-6 and P-1200. These parts are required to manufacture the RF Cable Adapter Set that interfaces with the Joint Service Electronic Combat System Tester (P/N 37534-400001-20 to cables APX 111 an AN/ARA-63. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
