- QUESTION Part I - The Schedule, Section B, states that the PDPs can be ordered in various colors. According to Drawing 8642400, when the PDPs are specified as green, the deadfront panels are painted with semi-gloss enamel. However, when tan is specified, the 25KW PDP is to be painted with lusterless CARC paint (section 5.6 of the drawing). There is a cost difference between semi-gloss enamel and CARC. Is there some way of getting at least an estimate of how many 25KW PDPs will be ordered with each color? ANSWER The government will waive the requirement for CARC paint for the 25 kW PDP, paragraph 5.6 on drawing 8642400.
