- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm, fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on a 100% small business set-aside basis for two each 130 gallon accumulator tanks and two each 170 gallon accumulator tanks. The contractor shall provide two shipboard 90/10 copper nickel, 130 gallon Galley Electric Hot Potable Water Heating Systems. The contractor shall also provide two shipboard 90/10 copper nickel, 170 gallon Galley Electric Hot Potable Water Heating Systems. Copies of MIL/FED specs, QPL, may be obtained from the ASSIST database on the Internet at http://assist.daps.dla.mil/online/start/. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Williamsburg, VA 23185 for one of the two 130 gallon Galley Electric Hot Potable Water Heating Systems and the remainder will be sent to Bremerton, WA 98314. This acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15, utilizing Best Value Evaluation, award will be made to the technically acceptable offer which provides the best value to the Government, past performance, and price considered. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The solicitation will be issued on or about 2 July 2008 with a closing date of 9 July 2008. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price supply type contract. Prospective offerors not CCR registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO website: www.neco.navy.mil under Business Opportunities under solicitation N00406-08-R-8194. The Government will not distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mail the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO web site. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO website periodically for any solicitation amendments. Prospective offerors should not expect notification that an amendment has been issued. The NECO web site is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. Telephone and facsimile requests will not be honored. Electronic submission of proposals is not available at this time.
