- 28 - SPARES OC-ALC/448 CBSG/PKP DIR CONTRACTING/PROPULSION 3001 STAFF DR STE 1AA2/113 TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OK 73145-3032.TF33 VANE ASSEMBLY, STATO SOL FA8104-08-R-0356 Item 0001NSN:2840-01-004-2179 RV, P/N:748686.Item Description: Consist of an inner and outer shroud precisely made of steel approximately 30.25 inches in diameter and 3.3 inches in height. Used to locate and secure 48 vanes equipment distant at a precise angle. The inner shroud locates and supports the outer periphery of the inner stage air seal ring. Applicable to: TF33 EngineDelivery:On or Before 30 September 2008 Quantity: Min: 29 ea, BEQ: 117 ea, and Max: 176 ea New Material Solicited. New/Unused surplus material may be consideredThe approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 1 July 2008.The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 31 July 2008.The anticipated award date will be 15 August 2008.No telephone requests. The solicitation will be available for download only at www.fbo.gov.Questions concerning this synopsis or subsequent solicitation can be directed to Wannie DeBouse at (405) 739-9081, fax (405) 739-4237, or email wannie.debouse@tinker.af.milNOTE: The 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission decision to realign/consolidate the procurement management and other related support functions from the components to the Defense Logistics Agency, is scheduled to be implemented at Tinker AFB in June 2008 timeframe. As a result, any contract resulting from this solicitation may be awarded by the DLA Detachment at Tinker AFB. Further, if a contract is awarded by the Air Force as a result of this solicitation prior to the stand-up of the DLA Detachment, the administration management of the contract will be administratively transferred to the Detachment at the time of stand-up. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. It is anticipated that this requirement is sole-source to United Technologies. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award.Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1.Note:While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation Note:An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
