- An oral request for quotations will be solicited for the following item as a small purchase: Fly, 16’ Green, Temper, NSN: 8340-01-186-3018. Quantity: 325 each. Two deliveries are required beginning one hundred twenty (120) days after date of award and every thirty (30) days thereafter. This solicitation will be Total Small Business Set-Aside. The destinations for subject items are: SG 2 - Defense Distribution Depot, Barstow, CA AN 5 – Defense Distribution Depot, New Cumberland, PA Submittal of First Article is required sixty (60) days after date of award. Specifications, patterns, drawings or other applicable documents, can be obtained by contacting Ricardo Pérez by e-mail at ricardo.perez@dla.mil or via FAX at 215-737-3276 until July 01, 2008. Oral quotations will be requested until July 14, 2008. DFARS clause 252.211-7006 “Radio Frequency Identification” applies to this solicitation. The Defense Appropriations and Authorization Acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as “The Berry Amendment”) impose restrictions on the DoD’s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
