- Description
- Acquisition Management Integration Center, B Division (AMIC/PKB) Langley AFB VA, is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy to procure a MX-15(i) surveillance camera ball and associated hardware, manufactured by Wescam Corp., to be mounted on a Cessna aircraft for the purpose of pre-deployment training to simulate realistic photographic feeds like that provided by the Predator aircraft. An approved Supplemental Type Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, for installation of this equipment onto a Cessna type aircraft is mandatory. This certification has been approved for the MX-15(i). The government's intent is to make a sole source award to L-3 Communications Wescam on or about 14 July 08. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies will not be made available. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) is 334511. Any interested parties who maintain they can provide the required product brand name or equal are encouraged to provide your company name, a point of contact, address, phone number, business size under the above NAICS code, and a capability statement not to exceed two pages in length that clearly shows how all requirements shall be met, to the POC for this procurement: Kyle Lancour, AMIC/PKB, 757-225-7486, email address is kyle.lancour@langley.af.mil.
