- Description
- The United States CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC) intends to award a Five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a One-year Option for procurement of NSN: 6605-00-531-2992 Transmitter Induction Compass Assembly T-611, military specification number MIL-T-45277 in ASSIST and NSN: 6605-00-487-4773 the Compensator Assembly CN-405, military specification number MIL-C-55398 in ASSIST. These items are a Crucial Component of an Integral Navigation Unit and orders will be placed on a Firm Fixed Price basis. The resulting contract will be awarded on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), to Ultra Electronics/ Flightline Systems, 7625 Omnitech Place, Victor, New York 14564 because, the Government possesses obsolete Technical Data Packages and Flightline was the only source available that makes a commercial equivalent that meets the Governments need. The minimum contract value will be $200K and a maximum contract value of up to $3.5 million. Shipments are to be FOB Destination, New Cumberland, PA with Inspection/Acceptance FOB Source. The delivery schedule for NSN: 6605-00-531-2992 will be 20 each 150 Days after Contract and 20 each month thereafter until completion; and NSN: 6605-00-487-4773 will be 40 each 90 Days after Contract and 40 each month thereafter until completion. First article testing will not be required. The U.S. Army CECOM LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil/, to allow electronic transmittal of solicitations and proposals.
