- The intent of the contract is to provide for the complete construction of the project described in the contract for the two unit SST Toilet Replacement project at the Columbine Campground, Camp Dick Campground, Quinette Point Day Use Area, and Greenridge Campground. Unless otherwise provided the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies, and perform all work required to complete the project in conformity with drawings and specifications and in accordance with provisions of the contract. The principal features of work to be performed include, but are not limited to the following: 1.Pumping and removal of existing toilets. Demolition in place of concrete vaults to 12 inches below finished grade. 2. Obliteration of existing aggregate trail associated with toilet removal. 3. Excavation of site for new SST Toilet buildings. 4. Construction of new SST Toilet buildings including concrete vaults and foundation. 5. Construction of concrete and aggregate access trails for new toilet access. 6. Relocation of existing barrier rocks. 7. All necessary final grading. 8. Seeding and mulch and rehabilitation of all disturbed ground. The work is located at the following sites: 1. Camp Dick Campground - 28 miles southwest of Lyons, Colorado. 2. Columbine Campground - 24 miles northwest of Denver, Colorado. 3. Quinette Point Day-Use Area - 6 miles north of Granby, Colorado. 4. Greenridge Campground - 15 miles north of Granby, Colorado. The desired start of work date for this project is as soon as practicable after contract award.. The Contractor will be given 100 days to complete the project. The Government estimate for this project is below $500,000. The solicitation for this project shall be issued on or around July 2, 2008. The solicitation will be available for free download at www.fbo.gov. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance. There will be a pre-proposal meeting for this project on July 8, 2008. All parties who will attend this site visit must RSVP with Christina A. Schofield on or before July 8, 2008 for the pre-proposal meeting by calling 970-295-6635. This project is being set aside for Hubzone Business Concerns. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to cschofield@fs.fed.us or via facsimile to 970-295-6699. Only written questions will be addressed. All Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor’s Registry (CCR) in accordance with FAR 52.207-4 to be considered for award. All Offerors must be registered in ORCA in accordance with FAR 52.204-8 to be considered for award. All Offerors must address all Evaluation Criteria in Section M to be considered for award. Offerors who fail to do so will be considered unresponsive.
