- The Huntington District Corps of Engineers intends to procure a contract for Hydraulic Dredging for the removal of sediment behind the upper guide walls at Greenup Lock and Dam, Greenup, KY and Racine Lock and Dam, Letart, WV and from the navigation access channels for the Little Sandy and Crooked Creek public access sites. The contract will be firm fixed price, competitively bid. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder with the lowest price. Solicitation documents will be available on 02 July 2008, online at http://www.fbo.gov. To be eligible for contract award, all contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the DOD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-888-227-2423.
