- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to remove the requirement for a DEA certificate. Since the contract CRNA will only be selecting and administering anesthesia medications in the operating room and not writing prescriptions for the patients the requirement for DEA certification is not applicable. The provision in the performance work statement is therefore changed as follows: FROM: The Contract CRNA shall possess an unrestricted license from any State or commonwealth of the USA and maintain a current DEA license with full prescriptive authority up to and including CII medications. TO: The Contract CRNA shall possess an unrestricted CRNA license from any State or commonwealth of the USA and shall also possess current BLS, ACLS and PALS certificates. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
