- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)05-26. This requirement is a full and open competition. The Associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the Business Size Standard is 500. The Government contemplates award of an Indefinate Delivery Indefinate Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed Price contract for the following measurement system. The contract term is for a five year ordering period that consists of a base ordering year with a minimum guarantee of $100,000.00. Each delivery order will involve a minimum order amount of one (1) each complete measurement SYSTEM. The anticipated estimated maximum quantity is ten (10) meaurement systems per year. The total quantity of measurement systems that that can be purchased via this contract is ten (10) each. The minimum guarantee order amount of $100,000.00 is applicable only to the initial base ordering year only. Description of Requirement: Vendor to propose unit prices for the following items, price proposal shall consists of the following ordering periods: Base Ordering Year: Date of Contract Award through 30 June 2009 First Ordering Year: 1 July 2009 through 30 June 2010 Second Ordering Year: 1 July 2011 through 30 June 2012 Third Ordering Year: 1 July 2012 through 30 June 2013 Fourth Ordering Year: 1 July 2013 through 30 June 2014 For the Base ordering year, the vendor is to propose unit pricing on the following items. Shipping shall be FOB Destination to Aberdeen Proving Ground, 21005. The technical evaluation will be a determination based on information furnished by the vendor. The Government is not responsible for locating or securing any information which is not identified in the offer. The Government reserves the right to make an award without discussions.
