- The previous announcement for modifications to contracts N66001-07-D-0054and N66001-07-D-0107 for additional line items to provide maritime single- channel, handheld radios and handheld and vehicular components and accessories is revised to change quantities listed in the original synopsis. The revised quantities are attached to the synopsis announcement on the SPAWAR E-commerce website. The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego intends to issue modifications to contracts N66001-07-D-0054 and N66001-07-D-0107 for additional line items to provide maritime single- channel, handheld radios and handheld and vehicular components and accessories. The estimated items and quantities are as follows: 1,700 maritime R/T units; 1,700 maritime antenna suites, 1,700 maritime headsets; 3,486 GPS cables; 4,905 APCO-25 waveform software packages; 4,905 COBRA waveform software packages; 816 6- or 8-slot AC/DC battery chargers; 500 2-slot DC battery chargers; 500 2-slot AC battery chargers; 1,600 single-vehicle adapters; 1,600 single-vehicle adapter antenna suites; 1,600 single-vehicle adapter operator's manuals; 160 single-vehicle adapter Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs); 1,600 single-vehicle adapter quick-reference guides; 1,600 single-vehicle adapter interface mounting plates; 900 retransmission software upgrades; 900 retransmission cables; 196 data mode cables; 160 tactical amplifier/speakers; 4,452 non-rechargeable battery holders; 160 remote control units for vehicular adapters and base stations; 500 DC power adapters/chargers; 1,700 maritime audio keyfill adapters; 1,064 Data (SINCGARS) adapter cables; 8,500 extended maritime R/T unit warranties; 8,000 extended single-vehicle adapter warranties; 80 OCONUS (non-hazardous locale) training sessions; and 2,500 non-warranty maintenance repair units. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Note 22 applies, and is modified to read "all proposals received within 15 days" (vice 45 days).
