- Description
- The Government is seeking a source to provide 2 each, Custom Built Trailer, Drop Deck with the following: Mfg: Mcelrath 20 ton capacity w/two 10,000 lb axles. Air brake, oil bath, axles, dual 2 speed jack, painted gray, lower deck, 26' 8" long X 8' wide X 36' high deck with, 10' long X 4' wide platform over king pin. No decking on lower deck, Steel plate over king pin. The requiring activity is Naval Facility Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The FSC code is 2330 and the NAICS code is 336212. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil or email to emanuel.clemons@navy.mil. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov. The proposed contract will be unrestricted.
